Tom Capasso Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 One possible reason for less hum in class is that there was probably less other electrical "noise" - like amplifiers, etc. Lighting, other transformers can add to the hum. Plus if the hum is 10% if the volume, you may not hear it low, but you can hear it turned up.
