b5pilot
After 19 years my old Peavey Megabass is starting to act up on me, and I had just sold a Soundgear bass I had, so I went looking for a new amp. I ran across a used but practically new Eden Time Traveller at Huber and Breese, a local music store. The price was right so I snapped it up. 180 watts @ 8 ohms, 330 at 4ohms and 420 watts @ 2ohms with built-in compression. No parametric EQ though. I used it at a gig last Saturday night. Wow! The sound was great! I thought my home-made cabinets sounded kind of so-so but this amp made them sound good! If you are looking for an amp and you run across one get it. Here's a picture of it with my Nick Lidstrom bobblehead (shameless Wings plug - GO WINGS!) http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg285/wildwookster/ricks-new-amp.jpg Yep, I'm a happy camper Lydian mode? The only mode I know has the words "pie ala" in front of it. http://www.myspace.com/theeldoradosband
jeremy c
Rock on, dude! Or as someone who lived in Michigan in the 60's (and hung out with the MC5), perhaps I should say, Kick Out The Jams, Mother..........! Free download of my cd!.
getz out
Cool amp. I had one for a couple of years and received a WT-405 from Eden as a replacment. I have always been happy with it.
jlrush
Nice, and it made your speakers sound better too. An added bonus. Visit my band's new web site. www.themojoroots.com
b5pilot
Thanks folks! Hopefully it will last as long as my Peavey. Lydian mode? The only mode I know has the words "pie ala" in front of it. http://www.myspace.com/theeldoradosband

Nicklab
As someone who's been a very happy Eden user for a number of years, welcome to the club! I think you're really going to like your sound a whole lot better now. getz out
Best Eden preamp ever, if you ask me. Tubeless, too. The thing gets plenty loud, too. I purchased the overpriced Eden shoulder bag, but it fits perfectly and has room for speaker cables and mains lead. Good stuff.
b5pilot
A shoulder bag? Cool. I'll have to check it out. I have a SKB 2 space rack I was going to put it in but I would have to remove the rubber feet and I don't want to do that. Lydian mode? rizzo9247
Nice grab on the Eden gear, it is superior-sounding stuff. I was in the market for a WT550 a while back, but it was a little too rich for my blood. Enjoy it.
