RELY RECORDS SEEKS BASSIST in their 20's for signed act.

Rely Records (http://www.relyrecords.com), is looking for a dedicated multi-instrumentalist (or TWO) bassist, keyboard player, rhodes, guitar, backing vox, for their signed band, Glint (http://www.myspace.com/glintonline), between the ages of 19 and 28, please do not reply if you are out of this range.

 

We are seeking 1 or 2 multi-instrumentalists, someone who plays guitar, bass, keyboards, and is involved with live sampling. If you can play any number of these things, and are very qualified, please continue to read and contact us. This is great if you are looking to get involved with an entire group of highly motivated and successful people.

 

Glint also owns a few keys including Moog, Rhodes, Juno 60, Juno G, Fantom X8.

 

Glint has recently recorded a major debut album with producer Nic Hard (http://www.nichard.com) over the last few months... It is currently being mixed in NYC and has received attention from most major labels. The album will debut in early 2008 under Rely Records, and there is extensive touring and publicity plans in the works. However, Jase who plays everything except drums on the record, wants to spend considerable time in his private studio rehearsing the next phase of Glint before playing publicly to divide and discuss musical responsibility.

We also have a great relationship with many national touring acts and very soon we will be working on booking our first opening slot tour after we assemble and build chemistry in the new line up. However, some major events are already booked for the spring time.

 

Rely Records has extensive plans for the upcoming record, including major PR campaigns, radio promo, television appearances, and touring... a few major festivals are already booked for the spring. We also have a complete video editing suite and do a lot of videos, including an upcoming full-length feature.

 

We generally don't like to use Craigslist as a means for posting, and we really insist you do a thorough investigation of Glint before replying. Glint already has a full crew from management, live sound engineer, road crew, and we are continually growing and gaining world-recognition.

We are looking for a player who is exclusively committed, dedicated, and prepared for a career of touring, practicing, televsion appearances in support of this upcoming cutting-edge release.

 

Background in music theory is a huge plus and it is important that we find someone who a) knows when to keep things basic and solid b) knows when its appropriate to get busy c) who has no ego problem.

 

Band influences includes, Joy Division, Brian Eno, Pink Floyd. We are going to be incorporating live sampling and triggering, so a background in this department is certainly helpful.

 

Auditions will be held during two days at a Manhattan studio in early January. We will set up dates as we hear back from people.
