I picked up 2 of these for about $26 to replace a bad tube in my Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue. I only needed one, but I figured what the heck. Man, I've never had so much depth and chewy goodness before, probably because the stock tubes weren't the best to begin with. It has a pretty high-gain characteristic; with the V1 tube removed, the DRRI now breaks up at around 3!!! The tone is great too. It is warm, fat, and musical and makes you feel like you have infinite tones at your command. This has made me fall in love with my amp all over again. :love: If anyone is looking for an amazing new production tube, I highly recommend this tube to bring the most out of your amp. It's solicited, it's topical, it's not selling or promoting anything... and it's a tip on a TUBE! I've used old Tung Sol 12AX7's that I pulled outta old TVs and radios on the side of the curb in a city, and liked 'em; never bought any new or N.O.S. ones, though, the ones I had were sweet but worn and wearing more... Now i have to resist from replacing any more glass for awhile. Never argue with an idiot.
