Basster
What's a good volume pedal for Bass. P.S. Limited budget. "I play the notes...but it is God who makes the music". J.S. Bach
jeremy c
Low budget would be the Ernie Ball VP JR> volume pedal. It's under a $100. You see them everywhere. They work. High budget would be the Visual Volume for twice the money. Lowest budget would be to find a broken wah wah pedal, disconnect everything and put in a 250K pot. Hey, I think I'll do that with my old broken wah wah! Free download of my cd!.
Athanacropolis
Good question Basster! Jeremy, have you played with both the Ernie Ball and the Visual Volume? Is there really a difference? I was just gonna buy an Ernie Ball. Kalta Eye The Blog
jeremy c
The Ernie Ball will be fine. The feature that the Visual Volume has is leds. Ooh, lights, cool! You can see the level....if you push the pedal halfway down, half the lights will light up. One third the way down, one third of the lights will light up, etc. This may or may not be a useful function. Free download of my cd!.
Switch hitter
yes the lights do serve a purpose. The maker pretty much explains it on visual sounds website. For the price, the ernie ball pretty much has it
