Ed Coury
I have an American Strat with dual humbuckers & S-switching...playing mostly classic rock. Any suggestions on replacement pickups? The Geoff
So why don't you like the stock pups? G. Robitaille59
If I paid that much for a git I'd expect the stock pickups to be sufficient. Rob Robitaille
GuitarPlayerFL
+1 That's what you do to the Mex Strats. The American pups should be OK. A Jazz/Chord Melody Master-my former instructor www.robertconti.com (FKA GuitarPlayerSoCal)
caprae
Dual humbuckers - how about a pair of P90s or a P90 and a humbucker from Bill (and Becky) Lawrence? Give them a call and tell them the sound you are going for and they'll let you know which of their pickups would work best for you. http://www.billlawrence.com/Pages/Pickup_Window/Introduction.htm P90 wise the L609 is more strat sounding the the L610 is more Gibson sounding - more growl from what I understand. picker
You might look into some Duncan pickups, a JB for the bridge and vintage 59 for the neck. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
