Gruupi
I was just listening to Itunes radio classical guitar station and a version of "Angel in the Morning" came on. I looked to see who it was and WTF, it was Esteban. It was really well done for the most part, the guitar at least. He played a flamenco feel intro with lots of feeling and a great tone. The middle was kind of cheesy when some electronic percussion and backing came on, but then it ended with some more solo guitar. I was really impressed with how well he can play. I know his commercials are lame and assume his guitars are worse than lame. But the man can play. Dr. Ellwood
Sure, he's a well trained guitarist, there is no doubt! http://www.thestringnetwork.com
Durockrolly
Dude can play, in my opinion! Fernando If you can't say it in 12 bars... then it can't be said!
Kramer Ferrington III.
In all the threads we've had on Esteban, his playing has never really been in question, though some have been skeptical about his alleged connection to Segovia. People have usually sneered at the guitars he peddles, but not at his playing. We don't get Esteban infomercials here (we have to make do with the Bowflex ones) so I can't really judge for myself.
