Ian Sharrock
..or just expanding my abilities. After 35 years of playing keys I feel the itch to learn something new. Just bought a WX5 (hoping to get a VL70m from ebay later today). I'm hoping it won't be too much of a problem, Blowing & playing I can handle, (I still have my BC1 pacifier for my DX5). Just have to get my head around sax fingering. Anybody got any good tips for a newbie windbag? Gig rig: Motif XF8,Roland A37~laptop,Prophet 08,Yam WX5~VL70m. SilverDragonSoun
I would take a few lessons and learn correctly so you don't develop any bad habits. I would also focus on proper breathing and thre techniques surrounding it.
