Tone Taster Posted May 27, 2006 Share Posted May 27, 2006 Okay, so i am building a guitar piece by piece. I just got in the mail my korina neck and korina strat body. The finger board is Brazillian Rosewood and the neck/body is all honey tint laquer. I am camera deficient and will be posting pics soon (I hope) I messed up and hit the wrong key when ordering and i selected a middle pickup for humbucker when i really wanted just 2 Buckers, so i have 3 buckers routed out now. The saving grace is that it is carved out for the vintage strat top, so i can cover the middle bucker with the pickguard anyway. The thing is, will a single coil fit in the middle and stay snug with the pickguard and all? So . . . . I am focusing on tremolo systems now What say ye regarding the Wilkinson VSVG system?
