  1. I have been using the Yamaha CP4 stage piano for years, and have been constantly updating and editing my sounds -- not new samples, of course, but adjusting parameters, effects, and other tricks to get playable, useful and creatively inspirational stuff. It occurred to me that others might like to have these new performances to "upgrade" their board to breathe new life into it. I was a freelance DX7 programmer way back when, and my sounds got 5 stars in all 5 categories when reviewed by Keyboard magazine back in the day. I am not trying to sell my CP4 or these sounds -- I am happy to give them away so players can realize more of the potential of their rig. Many were created for certain songs or applications, and as such have layers and splits that respond to foot controllers (I use Yamaha's F7 pedals). Even if splits or layers are turned off, most have usable sounds programmed and ready to use waiting behind those buttons. There may be a few duplicates in the set. I remember when the CP4 was still new and Bruno Zucchetti (from Italy) made a bunch of sounds available (for free). I was psyched that people were gonna start sharing files with this board, like in the good old days of the DX7. Well, that never happened, or at least I never found another person who was doing that. The name of his set was: CP4SuperSoundPackbyBrunoZucchetti The file is attached, called CP4-BECK Format is .C7A and the file size is only around 95KB. This includes 128 sounds, 8 banks (A thru H) of 16 each. I have them roughly organized based on the Voice Categories printed under each button on the face of the CP4. Panaramax CP4-BECK.C7A
