  5. The Good Lord Loves You was composed by American songwriter Richard Fagan. This song was recorded by Neil Diamond and released on the September Morn album in 1979. The Good Lord Loves You by Neil Diamond, 1979 I'm singing this song For the men in your prisons and jails The junkies and juicers and every good man that fails And for every outlaw who's got no place left to go The Good Lord Loves You The Good Lord Loves You The Good Lord He loves you so And I'm singing this song for the leaders of every land For every political and every military man And for every mother and child In their kingdoms below The Good Lord Loves You The Good Lord Loves You The Good Lord He loves you so Ain't it sad that we're doing so bad I'm singing this song With a feeling that's deep in my heart And I wish that I could tear down the walls that keep us apart And I wish I could tear down the walls so the feelings could grow The Good Lord Loves You The Good Lord Loves You The Good Lord He loves you so Ain't it sad that we're doing so bad https://youtu.be/UDDc8jSe7bU

  7. Hi El Lobo, Yes, I agree with you. This is truly a sad song. We, all, are traveling in the same road, and this particular part of the road is tough. I am glad that you liked it, after the sad story. Next time, I will stick to the hope and love, and bright and happy. Thanks for the great feedback!!! Respectfully, Rene
  8. I agree, very effective production, and really puts the message up front and center. Obviously, the bright minds of today's generation. Well done!!! Rene
  9. This is a bummer. For such a solid outfit, and not be attending, there must be another reason. Rene

  12. Hi Craig, For sure, it was not "take one", as I do make mistakes. Sometimes, if I got lucky, could be one take, usually a few takes, after a few practice sessions. Thanks Craig!!! Rene
  13. Love this Craig!!! You are definitely making a big buzz, keep it up!!! Respectfully, Rene
  14. Hi Craig, Quick question. If I have a song, a religious song, can I post the song? A "live recording" video. For example, "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman", or "Our Father Who Art in Heaven"? These are extreme examples, but they are songs. There are also a lot of country singers with christian message in their songs? The reason I am asking is that I compose christian songs. As long as there is no discussion to be had, is it ok? Thanks. Rene
  15. Good Morning Craig! First, Thanks for accepting me into your forum!!! I am not lip-synching, I am recording my videos, mostly originals and cover song "live" into 2 microphones that is not seen by my IMAC via QuickTimerPlayer. I am glad that you ask, because that is my goal is to record "live sessions", and for my recording set-up to be a bit of a mystery. Again, I really appreciate you giving me permission to be in your forum!!! Respectfully, Rene
  16. "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" is a jazz standard written by composer Duke Ellington. The song was originally entitled "Never No Lament" and was first recorded by Duke Ellington and his orchestra on May 4, 1940. "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" quickly became a hit after Bob Russell wrote its lyrics in 1942. This song is dedicated for all our elders, as we honor their lives and contributions to our culture and heritage. May we find the courage and patience to love and honor all of their being, as they continue to inspire and love us!!! Pray for all the peoples we lost in the war in Ukraine. So many lives lost. Pray for Peace!!! https://youtu.be/88GeFIwzWkM I am not sure if this is the right place to post this type of music. Thank you!
