  1. Good morning, A.C. and thank you for your interest. I guess you"re operating on a level I can"t even fully imagine, let alone aspire to. I had to 'not-google" several things you mention! Currently I am getting to know my B4000+ in standalone mode, with two 4 octave input keyboards. I can imagine at some point I might experiment with it as the node of a set-up, using its audio-in capability, and possibly taking at least one keyboard stream through another sound module before the B4000+. My experience so far suggests that the B4000+ is somewhat fastidious about the actual midi-lead. The first lead I used to connect a keyboard to it was recognised by the B4000+ (light in top right of display), and worked perfectly well connecting the same keyboard to a different sound module â but didn"t produce play/sound on the B4000+ (and it wasn"t a channel issue, either. I did check that.) Simply switching to a different cable produced sound. Probably the first point I"d welcome 'friendly fellow user comment" on is this: the B4000+ seems to have a fierce memory for any setting made, whether by preset or directly with the drawbars. Is there anyway of starting to make a new set of registrations from a blank canvas ? i.e. as on a computer you start a 'new" document/project in many different applications; or indeed, you reboot the actual computer to a fresh start.
  2. Hallo, from Wales UK My initial post is a very simple enquiry: are there any members currently using the B4000+ who are willing to share experience and wrinkles? I will just add that I get the impression that the B4000+ is somewhat of a Marmite product - strong opinions pro and anti. As a new user, I am still very positively orientated re the musical potential of the beat,. I don't want to debate its merits. But I am having the odd issue about processes. Sincerely Ian Graham
