  1. Does the MP11SE still have the sliptape issue? I'm not too happy with the bulkiness of a CA-79, so I wonder if GF1 is a noticeable downgrade to GF3?
  2. Okay, so here is a general misunderstanding: I do NOT want the MIDI data. I want the raw signal data *before* the MIDI conversion (drop the MIDI part entirely), and for each single string in the form of a separate low latency ASIO channel input (6 total). What's the best way to get that?
  3. Neither. I'd like to write a software synth for PC that does NOT use MIDI but the raw waveform data. For that purpose I'd need the raw ADC input from each of the 6 strings/coils. In principle, I could re-wire the GK3 or TriplePlay and connect them to something like a Behringer UMC1820. However, I'd prefer a more plug-and-play solution. I assume that the Fishman TriplePlay Connect Hexaphonic Pickup does only provide a combined signal via its ASIO interface and not one channel per string.
  4. Hello! I wonder if there is any way to tinker with the per-string signals picked up by those devices directly, ie. if there is any way to get low latency access (ASIO) to waveform data coming from the individual pickup coils.I basically want to develop my own guitar synths like Boss SY-1000. Because I think I know the answer already (no!), are there other solutions (ie DIY)? The main problem seems to be a somewhat reasonably priced 6-channel ADC with USB connectivity and ASIO support...
  5. Yeah, I had to reverse the polarity. The GEM Promega 3 senses the type of pedal at startup, though I doubt it senses polarity. However, when looking at the continuous controller MIDI data, I never see any 0's. The lowest I get is a 4 out of the MIDI control range 0...127 when the pedal is fully released. And even that is not on a consistent basis, often I only get a 6 or 8. Is there any way to calibrate the continuous controller input using some GEM Promega configuration option? Seems like I have to revert to switch mode unless someone can come up with a verified solution.
  6. I bought the Roland DP-10 pedal now. It has a 6.35mm stereo plug and I had to reverse the contacts for left and right "speakers" to make it work.
  7. When I play my stage piano, the "shocks" from hitting the keys get transmitted 1:1 onto my floor. Are there ways/products to prevent that?
  8. Hello! I still have a GEM Promega 3 standing around here. However, the pedal isn't working reliably any more. Anyone having some recommendation/experience to share about what currently available pedals work with this gem? I primarily need a damper pedal, possibly with half-damping ability. TY!
