    Thanks....its not a humm but a definite hiss, like you might expect from turning the amp up to max but MUCH louder through side speaker than front????

    Just acquired a used SSv.3, could anyone tell me whether the hiss I have coming from the side speaker and which increases as the width level is increased, is a 'feature' of the 3D effect or a sign of a fault. It only comes out of the side speaker (no cables are plugged in)? Thanks
