  1. 1) thanks - i'll try to get some input to the developers.

    2) According to the SP-6 FB page, this is a known issue already reported. Here's hoping they fix it in the next release.

  2. Hi! Two questions:

    1) has anyone found a shortcut to change the case of a character when naming a patch?

    2) Has anyone been programming a multi and experienced the transpose value of a layer changing when you went to a different screen within the edit function?

    Thanks!

  3. Well, I just ordered mine. Many thanks to Dave Weiser, to everyone here for their comments, and to Massachusetts for a sales tax-free weekend :-) Here's hoping I love mine as much as I did my loaner.
  4. So on my PC2R, I'm able to take a single drum sound and spread it over several keys so I could play a bass progression with an identical drum hit on each note - I think the setting was "keymap = constant"- Can the SP-6 do this?

    Thanks!

  5. yeah - the gator bag is nicely made but like 18 lb (the fusion is only 10 lb). My first try will be with my current (non-wheeled) bag and I'll see if that works - just thinking ahead :-)
  6. Thanks Coker and Scott - Thanks for the mention of the DS88, but weight is a big issue for me and I'm pushing my limit on the SP-6 (also, I always lean toward keyboards where I contributed to the development ;-) ). If I really want to do deep editing I can use my K2500X - I was just curious because the SP-6 manual mentioned splits/multis in the Program section as well as the Multi section. Thanks!
  7. Ok - but I can have multiple sounds spread in a zone? (assuming they share all other parameters?) - otherwise, what does the Split/Layer in the program editing buy you?
  8. So there -is- program editing? Perhaps using the PC SW?

Also - from the manual - it looks like, by using the Layer/Split page, each program can be (in K2500 terminology) a 4-zone setup, so using multi's you can build 16-zone setup? - am I right? Or what am I misunderstanding?
