We are not able to accept product ideas here for legal / liability reasons. We have been told that the marketing and engineering teams for Roland use social media for feedback, so your best option is to use one of the online forums or users groups (Facebook has several Roland users groups available).

    What is this...... so stupid.

  2. Although the QSC 10's are probably the best (to me), they are heavy so I bought 2 JBL Eons for $500 (or maybe less with the Amazon CC) - maybe I got both for $350. They sound really good on the gig and are plenty loud to me. They are very similar to the Personus with DSP for EQ.

Unfortunately they don't make them anymore, the new ones are probably better.

I have not had good luck with Presonus. My interface are abandoned quickly, then the posts went scratch fast. Then their USB interfaces popped when turning on/off. But I'm sure there are other models that are much better than the ones I got.

  3. The size of the Yamaha keyboards and the weight is the reason I can't use them for my local gigs. I request them on riders, but I just can't carry an awkward sized keyboard anymore. The S90ES was my last massive keyboard.

  4. Over here, everything black is what most people wear. I don't have a problem with a tux, all black etc...

What I do have a problem with are COSTUMES!

When someone asked me to play for a band, I said "ok, but I have on stipulation, NO COSTUMES" - they said "are you serious"? I said yes.

This band will try and dress you up like Gilligan's island and crap like that. I'm sorry, I can't take that.

  5. Thank you. I was thinking something funky like 2 blocks of wood with velcro on then. When I need to use the Rise live, I can velcro them to the bottom and then put them on the stand. I guess the wood might be around 3 feet in length. I could paint it black and also use them as sticks to protect myself should any crazy person come on stage! LOL

  6. I have a ROLI Seaboard Rise 25 and I have an X Stand. Anyone have any ideas on how to mount this over my RD-88 or any other keyboard I have? It's so short width wise.

Maybe get a plastic or wood panel to put on the 2nd Tier?

Anyone have one??? How are you putting it on a stand?

(I know you guys hate X Stands, but they are fast to setup/break down)

I'd would like to control a Poly D and Pro 1 from my Mojo 61 ?

Sometimes the Poly D, sometimes the Pro 1. (sometimes none or both at the same time?)

I looked at the  Midi Solutions website but there are so many different boxes...

Do i need a router or a simple 1 midi in 2 midi out box ?

    Thank you for any help.

OK at the risk of stating the obvious, your Mojo 61 can go into the Poly D, and then use the MIDI Thru to go to the next keyboard.

BUT I took a look at the Behringer Pro 1 and unless I am mistaken, it has a MIDI out only - so this would be a problem. If the second keyboard has a MIDI in, then you go Mojo 61 MIDI out-> MIDI in Poly D then MIDI Thru from Poly D to the MIDI in of the next keyboard.

  8. For the people that have the RD-88 does your rhythm selection get saved with the scene?

It's bizarre for me. I mainly use the metronome, but one time I saved another type of pop rhythm as a test. It never recalled. I did another test on another scene and it was not recalled.

Then I booted up the RD-88 and all of a sudden it was set to the pop rhythm which I never use. But pressing other scenes did not recall any other patterns. Strangely enough, the TEMPO of the patterns were memorized???? This is strange to me. Why save tempos, but not the rhythm selection? Maybe a bug?

The only problem is Yamaha, Kawai, Roland are probably not going to offer such a controller with their quality actions while they’re still in the business of selling sound engines that run on their silicon.  So it’s going to be a Fatar build and they only make a few action variants I care to play and own.  Just speculating, I don’t see anyone building this as described.

But Fatar could be put inside it. But yeah.... bummer.

  10. I did try that years ago. The plastic is not conducive to mounting things on it.

I tried to disassemble the breath controller and mount it in something else, but that was decades ago.

Now I just want to buy one that won't break easily.
