Okay, since you twisted my arm. My rig, right out of 2007, a dual Kurzweil PC1 setup. Photos taken before a show for a Zepplin tribute act, The Keep. -

I also have had fantastic experiences on Reverb and prefer to use it over any other auction website when buying gear. Sellers seem to be really accommodating and straight to the point â far more so than on other sites. Recently a seller worked with me to have a keyboard shipped even though the listing was listed as a local pickup only. Obviously you need to take precautions and make sure that you"re dealing with reputable sellers and you have recourse in case of any issues, but I"ve never had any to speak of so far.

0T- What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Kenny Ingram replied to Philip Clark's topic in The Keyboard Corner
I"m checking out a lot of Steve Eaton recently. I love his jazzy/bluesy recordings mixed with his tunes that employ a lot of jazz harmony techniques. His biggest hit was a tune called 'All You Get From Love Is A Love Song' that the Carpenters later recorded. [video:youtube] -

Wow! Nice desk! -
I wouldn't count on the keys being all that different from previous generation 76s. I've played K2500s, 2600s, SP76, SP4-7, etc. To me, they all felt very similarbut in my opinion it's one of the best all-round actions. If you could swing the extra weight, I'd definitely check out the Forte 7. Then you still have a hammer action as a bottom board, but have it in a more compact package and still keeps the weight around 40lbs.

Hey guys! How have you all been? Have something new to add to this thread: iPad Pro 12.9" (128 in Space Gray)! I've waited quite awhile for it, and finally got around to ordering last week. It's incredible for Forscorecan't wait to start using it for gigs! -
The Forte is being transformed into that mythic "PC4" via software updates. Full synth and fX editing have been confirmed and I'll bet we can see more goodies coming in the future that haven't yet been announced. I consider its strong points to be lower cost and reduced weight - and those are important items since the action is both the heaviest and mostly costly component in any keyboard. Most players prefer TP40L and for my programming work for big rock acts and Broadway I definitely prefer the TP40. But I think the TP100 strikes a good balance when it comes to reducing cost and weight with only a modest drop in quality of feel. +1 I can't wait to see what else is in store for the ForteI don't think anyone could have predicted half of the things that have been added just by the OS updates. PS - Rikismyname, I don't think it's fair to compare the TP100 to the TP40 as "all-rounder" actions. The TP100 will always come up "short" in that regard, since the TP40 is basically the best for this when compared to any keyboard most have tried. Still, when it comes to cost/weight, it really has it's place there to shine in the lineup. Give both a shot and see what will work better for your needs.

Don't understand the hate for the TP100s... I absolutely love it on my SP4super, super nice for AP and EP playing, and pretty awesome for everything else (even clavs, B3s, & even orchestral tones). Try it out for yourself before reserving feelings about it.
