  1. It's pretty easy to add a looper in firmware, a button, some RAM and a little bit logic to add buffers to existing ones for overdubs. But yes, looping in live, it gets boring after a minute or two.
  2. Weight-wise SK1 and Nords are not that heavy... Just cost much more. I don't know how VR-09 sounds in real life but if their organs/el pianos are lifeless, then less interest from me.
  3. I kind of understand Roland's thinking of an entry level organ engine ++ for those with a tighter budget. But I don't understand this target as younger musicians don't exactly play organ-style music and those who do this are usually in a middle-income level where they could afford a Nord and seldom care about loopers and synth patches.
  4. As I said I can't judge before I hear this keyboard in real life. Also, it has far more tweaks for synthesizer use than an Electro plus far more effects so for adventurous keyboard players it's a bonus.
  5. For budget conscious purchasers it might be their 'Electro'. I don't know how this system sounds in real life (and no NAMM tickets, argh), so I can't personally say how much you lose if you get this one half the price of an Electro 4.
  6. If the price point is right, these will sell a lot. Happy to see a lot of Electro competing products as that's a good area.
