Looking online yesterday after getting the e-mail about the big savings, I was really surprised to see just how small most of the discounts turned out to be.

I had the same experience. I wasn't looking for anything in particular,  just randomly looking around but nothing I couldn't get for the same price for anywhere else

  2. Also - any recommendations for smaller studio speakers to use with the keyboard that won't break the bank?

You will get as many recommendations here as there are members willing to comment. A more defined budget would help, as speakers are squarely in the catagory of "you get what you pay for"

  4. plug the cable from the pedal into the back of the Ventilator where it is labeled "REMOTE"

the switch is clearly labeled as to which buttons to push

if the pedal works without the remote then I would check and make sure the cable is good first before you do anything else

  5. I have a Studiologic Numa organ that I ran through a Vent II recently, and through an original Vent 10 years or so ago.  I am currently running it through a GSI Burn (thanks, Joe )

I sold the Vent only because I am running BX-3 on the Studio computer and didn't think I would need it anymore.

I do like the immediancy of the clone experience, and BX-3 is almost there.  For example, I have to use a mouse to get the leslie sim into stop position using the Numa.

Numa model is now updated to a newer version (Numa Organ 2).  The raw tone is dope and the C/V is excellent.

I believe Scott owns or has owned both models, maybe he will see this thread and chime in.

Roland organs don't get a lot of love on this forum, we are picky.

I remember Joey demo'ing the Roland VK7 at NAMM late 1990's, would have made anyone want to buy one who heard him play it.

As always, it's the carpenter, not the tools.

A much larger studio in a much larger house.

That's pretty much all I want at this point. There. Such a simple list. :D

Careful what you wish for, there are a lot of expenses that go along with this. I did just the opposite 12 years ago, no regrets

Forgive me if bumping an old thread is poor form, but I have some questions related to pedalboards.

Bumping an old thread is never poor form, Adam. I don't have an answer to your questions, but I am subscribed to your YouTube channel.

Edit: I do have Kontakt 7. It was included with my S49mk3 package and automatically added to my account when I registered the SN of the keyboard.

That's great.  I paid US $99 just to upgrade to Kontakt 7 about 18 months ago.  Well worth the price of admission due to the huge factory library upgrade, the new GUI is icing on the cake.

I haven't upgraded Komplete in 3.5 years myself

  9. Rob, there is good advice in the above posts.  The latest version of Komplete Kontrol is 3.2.1 The latest version of Kontakt os 7.9.

I downloaded and installed them both late last evening. I own a NI SL 61 MK II, everything working correctly for me.

Hope you get sorted out soon

  10. I have purchased 2 upright offerings from them, Vertikal and Rain Piano Mark II when they were on sale, less than US $20 for both.

I don't use them often, but they have a unique character for when I want that. More tools in the toolbox.
