Hi all,
I was just loading up some of the extra voice libraries into my SK1 and noticed for the first time that the internal memory for the extra voices is miniscule. Has hammond offered a memory upgrade for this? Alternately. is anyone doing this upgrade 3rd party?
In my days of yore, I remember upgrading chips on an old synth or two to increase the memory. Heck, I seem to recall articles in Electronic Musician or some other magazine of that era about doing just that.
However, this was in the days of early 80s polysynths. I'm expecting that today's more sophisticated keyboards would not be as likely to hack like this.
