  1. I will give this new version a try. Hopefully it will work properly in Forte.
  2. On Thursday nights I play in a band that hosts a local rock jam. Gets pretty loud at times. Spacestation handled it fine and sounded great. I got a nice video from my GoPro music edition ( using the chest mount - interesting perspective). I am not going to post the link to it here as I'm not sure it is appropriate, but if you are interested, send me a PM I will send you the link. Nice demo in context. Using my CP4 and SK1.
  3. Yes - Sweetwater has them. I got word mine shipped today. Looks like Thursday eta.
  4. I set up VB3 as the instrument - L'otary as the effect. ( So the output from VB3 goes into L'otary ). Same as I have it for MVintage. It is ignoring the midi CC for changing speed. I am wondering if this is a limitation of the demo version. Maybe doc is incorrect on that.
  5. Just downloaded the demo and tried it. It sounds good but I had a problem. I am using Brainspawn Forte 4 and I loaded the sim as an effect with VB3. I couldn't get it to recognize an incoming midi CC to change the speed. I verified the midi input is enabled and used the midi monitor in Forte to verify that the CCs are coming in and everything works fine with the Melda productions plug in. I have the input set to OMNI so midi channel is not a factor but it does not respond to midi control. I am wondering if this is an incompatibility with Forte. Has anyone else had success using this with Forte? I am emailing support to see if they have tried it. May be a bug. The doc says there are no limitations on the demo version so this should work. Another potential problem is that it does not let you configure the midi CC for changing speed. It uses mod wheel and sustain but I didn't see a way to configure this. Maybe I missed it.
  6. Looking forward to hearing this one. I have been using the Melda Production "vintage" leslie sim with VB3 which I like a lot. Good to have an other option.
  7. Hi All I just discovered this forum recently. I greatly enjoy reading it. Some really interesting folks and great discussions. To introduce myself... I went to college at the Hartford Conservatory of Music pursuing a dream to play jazz full time. Somehow tho I ended up getting a job as a software engineer and I have been doing that as my full time day gig ever since. Part time I have played in many bands over the years playing a lot of different styles. Currently I play in a contemporary christian band at a large local church Sunday mornings and evenings. We also do some concerts and coffee houses. I also play in a classic rock / blues / jam band playing local clubs On this forum I have espcially enjoyed the lengthy discussions on Hammonds and clonewheels. I had to make that decision recently. I ended up with a Hammond XK-1 with a vent. But all of the clonewheels are so good these days it is a tough choice. This forum is the main reason I ended up with the vent - I am loving it. Cheers
