  1. I really like the sunset! I see that the lights have starburst effect.... it was taken with small aperture and long exposure?

Here's one I took recently after coming back from a gig. It was taken at 1am and the temperature was subzero, but the fog and the light looked great, so I parked my car and went under the bridge to take a few shots. I froze my ass, and I was constantly looking behind my back (spending time under bridges at 1am never seems like a good idea)

  2. Here's another shot at macro photo. Shot yesterday. I only managed to snap 3 handheld pictures before the little fella flew away.

    Pentax K30 + extension tubes + Helios 55mm aka poor man's macro.

Btw, does anyone know what are those orange things on top of his head?

  3. Joe: do you have any tips for taking night shots on an iPad? Mine are always terrible...

Which iPad? I have an Air, so that might have something to do with it. Or just dumb luck.

    Nice tree btw!

Mobile phone cameras (and ipad) have a small aperture. Your nightshots are bound to be awful since you cannot get enough light onto the sensor.

  4.

One thing I felt was missing from the CP-1/5 is an full range EQ that can be assigned at the voice level and saved with the performance. The Master EQ is a room EQ only. With the CP-4 you can have two insert FXs so one can be EQ and the other modulation, for example. You can, BTW, assign a PreAmp model to one of the insert FXs so that aspect hasn't been lost.

Long winded way of saying things are a bit different under the hood. Probably won't affect 99% of the users.

    Busch.

You can do that with CP5. Each of 4 parts has two fx inserts (mod/fx and power amp), and each one of those fx inserts can be a 5 band EQ. So you can actually have 2 EQs assigned to each vocie, and have that saved as a performance.

  5. I always found the Wurly in the CP5 completely uninspiring

Disagree bigtime. Also, IIRC, there was an OS update that improved the playability.

I disagree as well, wurlitzer on my CP5 is one of my favourite sounds on it. Sounds great, and feels good to play.

  6. I think you are right, it's easier to find black keys than the white keys due to their 2-3-2-3 pattern. I myself often wondered is it because it's easier to find the keys or he just likes Eb. I like how Eb sounds though, somehow it sounds cooler than, I dunno, ordinary E.
  7. You can always take down the back seats, right? I drive an Opel Corsa (Vauxhall in some countries) and I can fit a leslie, clonewheel and 88 key stage piano easily. If I wanted I could fit a rhodes too, but I don't carry a rhodes to gigs anymore.

Even without taking down the back seats I could fit 2 boards on the back seat, the trick is to put them in vertically (bottom keyboard case part goes where the passenger legs go, upper part goes where the passenger head goes).

  8. Here, a couple of recordings , live from "Good morning Croatia", I think this was recorded last year. Obviously not our original songs. You'll notice that it's been recorded at 7-8am, the time of the day musos usually like to sleep over. :D

Unfortunately, the guy who recorded it didn't mind the VCR (or whatever he used) recording level so the recordings peak a bit.
