Fender made a bajo sexto Tele years ago:

bajo sextos are tuned a fifth below standard and they're generally twelve-strings. this one was made for Richie Sambora, but I think you can still get one through the custom shop; at least you could a few years ago.

There used to be a company that made guitar necks with interchangeable fingerboards; Tony Levin used to endorse 'em during the Three of a Perfect Pair/So period. Anyway, while trying and failing to find video/photos of said necks, I found this guy's work:
