  1. I know. I lugged around a 73 for a few years and loved the sound but hated the action weight and bulk. The Seven addresses all of these issues but still has that magic and I'm liking the colored knobs giving you an idea of where things are at. I totally agree that Crumar is killing it.
  2. Anybody get their's yet? I see that they are available for order on Alto and Sweet. Thinking I may need one for my soul. Also have any new demo videos been released. I need more information.
  3. Is there a US release date set for the Seven?
  4. I can't believe how quickly this thread went from excitement and optimism to negativity and complaining. Especially over a sound which is just included as an afterthought. I'm waiting for somewhere in the next three pages where people start complaining that there is no B3 in there. "Look man, it's got the Gemini in there. How hard would it have been to put in VB3? You could control it from your phone and not have to bring a clonewheel to the gig. Crumar is scamming us into buying two boards, plus the Gemini based VA synth they're rolling out next year." My only gripe is the price. $1400 and I'm in. Over $2k like it is and I really have to want this.
  5. Hear Hear Markay! Modelling is why I am interested in the Seven. There's plenty of sample based pianos like the Grandstage or SV-1 that "will never generate doubt" if you want that sort of thing. Kudos to Guido.
  6. I'm glad that the Seven is an electric piano first. AP's on these boards is overrated. Play the AP here or the AP on a CP4 through a Roland KC600 or Traynor K4 and it still is miles away from a real piano. Plus most actions stink outside of Kawai. Personally I'd easily be able to use this on a gig. For me the real question is how are the Rhodes, Wurli and Clav on the Seven different than the Mojo 61. Right now I use a Mojo 61 with a Studiologic Numa Stage on the bottom. It has the TP100 Fatar action and a decent AP. I play the Mojo 61's EPs using the Numa. I really like it. The question for me is how is the Seven substantially different than playing the EP's in the Mojo 61 with a hammer action keyboard? For me I love the Seven but I feel like it is not going to be that much different than what I have now, just more expensive and heavier. THe Seven is cool but I know if I needed organ, I'd end up bringing the Numa shotgun since it is so much smaller and lighter. I'd only use the Seven for piano only type gigs, but those are rare. I am really tempted though. The SV-1's siren call was difficult to resist too but I was able to fight it off. This one is going to be more difficult. It just looks so cool and bad ass.
  7. When is this going to be available? The Seven checks all the boxes for me. Was there an AP in the demo with Max? I heard one section where it sounded like AP in the treble but sounded like a CP70 in the bass/tenor so I figured it was the CP70 model. If this thing has a boss AP, I'm all in.
  8. Mitch, where did you get the Mojo? I've been interested in this and can't seem to find a dealer online. D
