Well, my first Volkswagen, I bought new in Germany in 1958. I put a supercharger on it and it would run 95mph, fuel would last about 10 hours. They have made some inprovements but mine cost $1,200.00. My VW was better when you figure MPH vs. Cost. Don't get me wrong, I would trade it for a Veyron. Rocky

I love eating cheese while playing my Jazz bass. The pickgard does protect it somewhat but not a lot. To get the maximum flavor from cheese, it must be eaten at room temperature (provided the room is not too cold) Cold cheese has no flavor. If the cheese is too warm, it could get into your strings and then you would have to boil them. After boiling strings, should you put them in a hot oven to dry them???? I could not find the answers on Wikipedia. Should I try the search feature? Where is that exactly? Rocky

Anyone who would say that American Idol is "hookey" or poor quality has obviously never watched the show. Melinda Doolittle's performance of "My Funny Valentine" was no less than spectacular. I am sure there are many, many producers who are drooling to get her under contract. She probably will not win because the best talents seldom do win. But she is going to be a big time star. My wife and I are big fans of American Idol for many reasons. This year there are 3-4 excellant female singers, I don't think any of the male singers will be around much longer. Lakisha Jones wiped them all out on the last show. As Simon said, she is in a different league, the other 23 contestants might as well pack up to go home. Unforunately, talent seldom wins as it becomes a popularity show towards the end. But, the runner-ups usually get the big recording contracts. Ricky Minor does a wonderful job with the house band. I think there is an important message here about healthy eating. I wonder if the fries were cooked in the new "healty oil" or the old stuff. The ants new what was good for them. Could you tell the origin of the food. Was is a major chain or a small "Boutique" burger shop? These are things we need to know. Rocky
