  1. Dave, I've been playing around with recording on the acoustic. Where are you putting your mic's and how many?
  2. Kewl Dave! Always look forward particulary to hearing your voicings.
  3. LOL! At a recent jam, the organizer said "Jam cancelled - we don't have a bass player". I emailed him back, don't we have piano players? Stick a keyboard up there! And then we would have had a whole night without a bass solo (insert bass solo jokes here...). ...but the bass player showed up.
  4. SK that was just incredible! I thought you actually played bass.
  5. LB, good to know you still remember me, my friend. I guess I've been hanging out more at PW because of my piano orientation nowadays...(remember, you invited me there?).
  6. Hey Dave F., still here. Mostly I just lurk as I've been too busy to comment on the latest "gear". But still heavily playing and teaching at the other forum on a equally large thread...Mom's still healthy and happy. thanks. Now that I've got a Yammie P-155, maybe I can participate here too.
  7. Wow. Loved that SK. Very interesting rhythmically. Sounded like three layers of sound ala Mehldau. Dave F., with your lush chords, Dolphin sounded like a reharm.
  8. Great job with this thread SK and others! I haven't waded past page 2 yet and just started with the last couple of pages. This will be a great long term resource. I appreciate all of you contributing. It'll just take me awhile to read through all this...
  9. Dave F., good job! You inspired me to learn 'Tones'. My teacher wanted me to learn that before and I never did it. Beautiful tune.
  10. Three new intros in one day. That's great! Welcome guys!
  11. Sandy, it's good to have you around and appreciate your contributions to the compositions thread! Stick around.
  12. Hi Steve, yes I remember your first posts about the Roland Juno-D...Glad to have you around. J
