Hi joe - we must be the only 44w guys around...
The "W" refers to "Wurlitzer", and I think they made a "C" (for Conn). Interface wise, the amps are expecting a 147-style unbalanced signal.
(And not the 122 style balanced signal which is COMPLETELY different - they don't mix).
If I recall, the 44w had an in/out pins on the amp, so you should be able to just daisy chain to the 46w.
I would hook up your rig to just the 46w to verify it's in working order first - those amps are so old you will likely need some work on the amp.
I recall getting $100-200 for the 44w amp the bay...
And I could have gotten even more if a certain blind virtuoso keyboard player had not stepped on the jensen field coil and trashed it....
Oh well...

If you do the deal, see if you can rent a set of roll-or-kari dollies. I've rented them for $30 here.
They make moving the beast MUCH easier...

B2's can have smooth or rachety/clacky drawbars.
You'll have to see in person to tell.
Add aftermarket percussion (trek2, hampton) and you've essentially got a b3.
I played a b2 w/smooth drawbars and percussion at a well-respected studio on a couple of albums. No difference to speak of. Steve Winwood used it too - he seemed to like it.
It will probably come with a PR-40 cabinet (a non-rotating but tube speaker), but with any luck it will have a leslie.
Don't diss the single speed leslies (fast only) - there's a mod to make them two speed that works well.
$500 is fair/good. B2's with percussion mods go for 2-3k on the bay.

Hey all - I'll intro myself:
My Handle/Moniker was given to me in a Kansas City Jump Blues band (w/four a list horns). I don't know if it's meant as an ironic joke or not.
40+ age group (ok I'm old...)
I work as a software eng and play in various bands and an occasional session here/there. My last steady gig was as "the captain" in delicous - a nine piece disco/funk party band that always features two pretty hot girls.
I snubbed cover bands for a long time, until I saw how much fun it is to have everyone in the place on the floor and dancing.
My live rig(s) have varied, and had most of it stolen twice now, so I've got to try a few things.
Right now I usually go with a two organ clone rig, though considering moving back to an 88 controller for the lower manual (miss the 88).
Current rig:
1957 B3 (stays in a commercial studio)
Leslie 44w modded to 145 (Jensen 15" PLL)
Hampton Tube Preamp Leslie Pedal
Korg CX-3 V2 (had orig for 18 years)
Nord Electro (LOVE IT)
Studio Electronics ATCX two osc synth
Roland P-330 piano module
KBR-3D amp
Hohner D6 Clavinet w/Envelope Follower
Favorites I used to own:
Yamaha DX7
Roland D50
Prophet VS
Prophet S3000
Roland MKS-20 (several)
Kurz PC88
Kurz K2000R
Kurz K2500R
Several Rhodes Pianos
Several PRO3's (seem to work best with KB300's)
Cakewalk since 2.0 (when DOS was cool)

Aw shucks.
Hauling an m3 and two leslies ? man that's ambitious.
I think a good balance would be a clonewheel and convert your 44w leslie to a 147. I love mine.
