Hi joe - we must be the only 44w guys around...
The "W" refers to "Wurlitzer", and I think they made a "C" (for Conn). Interface wise, the amps are expecting a 147-style unbalanced signal.
(And not the 122 style balanced signal which is COMPLETELY different - they don't mix).
If I recall, the 44w had an in/out pins on the amp, so you should be able to just daisy chain to the 46w.
I would hook up your rig to just the 46w to verify it's in working order first - those amps are so old you will likely need some work on the amp.
I recall getting $100-200 for the 44w amp the bay...
And I could have gotten even more if a certain blind virtuoso keyboard player had not stepped on the jensen field coil and trashed it....
