The Nord Stage 3 and Kronos provide all the synth power that I need.  However, there are times I take the Prophet 6 and Voyager, if space allows, because I want to darn it! 😀  
 

This is for my previous band playing 80s rock and an upcoming project focusing on Canadian rock.

Yamaha 02R mixer

 

I remember salivating over the 02R when it was released.
 

 A bandmate had one that had some bad xlr inputs.  He just wanted to get rid of it and asked if I’d take it.   I gave a resounding “Yes!”  it’s bigger and heavier than I imagined.  Even without those faulty xlr inputs I think it might make a nice keyboard submixer for my wee studio and I’m looking forward to puttering around with it.

I usually lay tile in Gb because, well, that way my floor is really flat. 😀

I like the Studiologic SL 73, although I know not everybody enjoys the Fatar TP 100 LR action.  As you mentioned, the controller features are pretty slim, though.  I’ve been thinking of adding a separate box with sliders and knobs.  Maybe Studiologic’s Mixface.

Love this song!  Really love playing it!  Packs the dance floor every time.  I split my keyboard (Nord Stage or Kronos) with the intro patch on the right, verse/chorus patch in the middle and the fluty patch on the left.  The verse/chorus patch is a slight tweak of the intro patch.

[Keyboard With Special Sauce]

There was a local music store in the 80s and 90s where I would work occasionally.  They had a gorgeous looking, playing and sounding, Young Chang 5’ 10” baby grand.  Many of the local players came in to play it and commented on how much they liked it.

 

Sadly, while being delivered to the eventual purchaser, it was tipped off the truck ramp!  The store owner wanted to save a bit of money and sent two guys instead of the usual three for a grand delivery.  It was repaired, but never approached its pre-fall glory.

[What are the most iconic "looking" (not sounding) keyboards?]

Since I started playing in bands in the 80s, what is iconic to me isn’t necessarily one keyboard.  For me it was racks full of 19” synth and sampler modules and effects units.

[Ventalator 2/clonewheel question.]

Although it would mean added cost, I liked having the Vent within hands reach and a Vent remote pedal plugged in and on the floor for switching of speeds.  Best of both worlds!

Hey all.  Pianos and guitars like their environment to be somewhat humid while electronics prefer things to be on the drier side.  What percent relative humidity do you folks shoot for in your studio to keep electronics from getting rusty and wooden instruments from cracking?

I just fired up my MX-8 and can confirm that it does not do what you need.
