Do you have any experience with FUCHS OD100. I'm using GT 12AX7M in V1 and V2. GT 12ax7M PI. I'm interested in finding out what you would use in V1 and V2.and why. I'm using Svetlana 6L6GC at 35ma. for power tubes. I'm going for that Robben Ford Larry Carlton thing. Thanks Frank C

Hey Miles, I have a Fuchs OD100 head, presently I have Gt12ax7M in V1 and V2, and 12ax7M-MPI and A JJ 12ax7 in reverb/ effects buffer. Svetlana 6L6GC at 35mv.parallel effects loop with rocktron replifex. JBL K 120 in single 12 Mesa Cab.Ibanez AS200/335 Going for Robben Ford/Carlton sound. Any improvments you could recommend on this set up?

Hi Miles, Wanna get you thoughts on Regulators like a Furman ar117 or 1215 for a rack system with Triaxis, 290 power amp and Relpifex. I keep getting mixed reviews. To my mind if you control the flux of voltage from gig to gig, the rig would sound more consistant. Also need your thoughts on Bias mod for a mesa 290 power amp. Thanks Frank C

Hey Myles, I have a line on some phillips nos 6L6WGB's that I'm thinking of using in a fixed bias Mesa 290.What are some difference's between svetlana 6L6 and phillips and what rating's should the phillip's be if tested on a digital maxi matcher.Any Problem using them in 290? Thanks Frank C.

Hi Myles, I contacted mesa about the Triaxis. They told me v1 is not in chain in clean rythm mode.v2 is what would normal be v1 in most amps.So the 12ax7c9 should be in v2 I believe,but since v1 is input for lead 1 and v4 is lead input for lead 2,(the main solo channels) should I consider 12ax7R3 for those?Mesa told me they are now using 12ax7EH for their amps now.Is there a chicago dealer for 12ax7C9 and R3?

Back to the Triaxis,In My manual it says v1 is lead 1 input, v2 input for all other modes, v3 lead and rhythm mixer( not sure what that means), v4 is lead 2, v5 effects return. I was also told the schematic shows lead 1 and 4 only engage in those modes.If i'm playing rythm channel I can pull v1 and still play rhythm channel.I'm confused about v1 and v2.This is important to me because funk and jazz clean sound are just as important as lead channel. 6L6s are Svetlana's? Could you clarify all this for me? I tried to call mesa for clarification but could'n get through.

My Triaxis has v2 and v3 for rythm, v1 and v4 for lead channels and v5 for effects. I play funk, jazz, and fusion. What are your recommendations for 12ax7's and why? How about the 6L6's and 12ax7's in mesa 290.
