Dave Horne
I just had a visit from a friend from Russia who also plays piano and he played a song he called Serenade for Sunshine Willy. He said the song came from the same movie that Chattanooga Choo Choo was featured in. Does this strike a bell with anyone? I've looked in my old fake books and came up with nothing ... perhaps it's known by a different name? Anyone ...? Thanks, Dave No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. zeronyne
Hmmm... The movie in which "Chattanooga Choo Choo" was nominated for an Academy Award was Sun Valley Serenade, which also had "In the Mood", "It Happened in Sun Valley", "I Know Why and So Do You", and of course, "Sun Valley Serenade". (Also, an instrumental version of "At Last") I did a google search, and i can't find a song list for the movie, but I hope this helps. Sorry if you already knew all this. "For instance" is not proof. Dave Horne
Zero, thanks for the reply. I searched using the name of the song I was given and went from there. No dice for me either. It's also possible the information I was given was incorrect. Thanks, Dave No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message.
