KikkyMonk
In such songs as "rock the funky beats by Aprodite" (or the natural born chillers) how do you chop up the vocals and reorder them in such a rythmic way? Do you use something like steinburgs recycle to cut it up into individual syllabals and then sequence them from there? any other ideas or do i need to clarify some more? Ever appriciative Dave
Mr Darling
I'm not familier with those tracks but I'll guess you meaning one of the two: 1. a rythmic breaks in the vocals (as featured in our track "Cloud 9" http://www.DarlingNikkie.com/sounds For this we used a gate triggred by an external rythm 2. full vocals played back rythmicly. For that you will have to chop thae vocals. You can use recycle or any sampler to achive saparte parts and then you'll have to play them rythmicly. RangerJay
Print to tape. Cut the tape up and paste it back together randomly. Play the tape and record it into your favorite DAW. In your DAW, reverse the loop, and make it repeat for at least 3 minutes. Save. Delete. In that order. Then play some real music using a real instrument.
