MIles had an OB8 along with a DX7 for the mid-80's Tutu tour, and kept them on that red stand. They had a bunch of tape on it so he'd know what did what. That could be the same Oberheim - it's the right shape.

Bobby used a Poly 6, Jupiter 6 and DX7 in his three-tier rig on the red stands when I was their keyboard tech for the Tutu tour...but I'm not sure what that is.

The OB8 has a cutout on the wood side panel to access the pan pots. Maybe this is an OBXa?

Good eyes !

Panpots cutout were always on the right wood side panel of the synth !

I owned a early one which then got it´s Oberheim MIDI retrofit via a cutout in the left wood side panel which came as a replacement part,- in opposite to later models which already came w/ Din-MIDI - jacks on backpanel from factory.

So yes,- OB-Xa.
