Their claims for the benefits of 3-way vs. 2-way are accurate in my experience, and their claimed LF extension is believable given 3-way plus DSP. It is nice they made them tall - a bit less visually intrusive than wide boxes. The weight is very reasonable for that kind of output. That is about as much LF as you can get without subs, in a lightweight package. If you like the sound, they are probably a win. I suspect you could buy different, but not really better without spending a TON more $$. Its still a lot of 2-way boxes at that price point. Something like JBL SRX835 would be "more" - but "multiples more" in every direction - weight, size, cost... Not nearly as portable or visually stealthy.
