Stephen Fortner
Gang, apologies if this is a repeat post, but IIRC I neglected to post this here before. After NAMM 2019, the always affable Nate Tschetter gave me a tour of the synth museum he created at Yamaha US headquarters in Buena Park, CA. Shot and edited this video and there are some real gems here: CS80, GS1, DX1, CS30, VL1 ... Hope y'all enjoy! Doerfler
I believe it's a repeat but it's worth watching more than once.
Piktor
I remember trying an fm synth that Yamaha released a couple of years before releasing the DX7. Was it the ce2? It had a wheel that was neither a pitch bend or a mod wheel. It controlled portamento time, I think. The instrument seemed so odd to me at the time. Thanks for posting this video Steve. 18:30 is my favorite part.
