tsaub
I am trying to mount a computer monitor in a portrait, vertical, position on a speaker stand. The conundrum is that standard diameter of a speaker stand is 1 3/8in and the standard VESA pole mount inside diameter is 1 7/8in. I guess av poles are 2 inches in diameter. So I either need to make the pole larger or find a smaller mount. So far, I have not found the smaller mount that I like. This is a for my live rig so it needs to come off the pole easily. Don't want to mess with set screws that need to be taken apart all the time. Any suggestions?

JimboKeys
Depends whether your speakers stand has 1 1/2" tubing that narrows to 1 3/8" on top, or if it's 1 3/8" all the way. If it's the former, you can bolt a couple of lighting clamps (O-clamp) onto your VESA mount, and use those to clamp to your stand. - Jimbo
