ECBRules
Bill evans is one of the groups I 'detox' with after a long day of listening to stuff that I just want to forget. Can anybody recommend any other chilled out, pure, detox cd's? I also really like ambient for this purpose. Like something you would like to listen to after being forced to listen to punk rock all day, so you can forget what you just put yourself through. Stuff that is musically interesting, yet still has a sparseness that soothes.... another one I use is Pink Floyd - Animals. http://www.kennyruyter.com/old/cowmix.mp3 <- Cowbell fever REMIX oh damn!!! http://www.eastcoastbands.com aka: ECBRules . thisOLDdude . keny . Sp3nc3r
After hearing 12 hours of music in the studio, nothing clears out my mind like some good ol' brainless TV. There's the odd occasion where I've come home and my girlfriend have had CMT on (which is bad enough all on its own) and I've had to steal the remote from her to change it.... too much crap. Usually, a good Simpsons episode (rerun or not, it's still fantastic) clears my head. Mythbusters on Discovery is good for bringing sanity back, as well. Cheers!
