Rory
Rory Member Member # 49948 posted 06-25-2006 05:35 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a Fender Bandmaster with tremolo (No reverb)and need to know the position of the phase inverter 12AT7. Right now I have it in the slot right next to the 2 6L6s because i saw a list of positions for Fender amps posted on the internet that seemed to have the AT7 always in that slot. But I'm not sure. The other tubes are 12AX7s and the 2 6L6s. I would greatly appreciate advice from someone who knows. Rory

miroslav
I don't know for sure...but your instincts are good...12AT7 is usually just before the output tubes. miroslav - miroslavmusic.com "Just because it happened to you, it doesn't mean it's important." Caevan O’Shite
Yeah, the one right next to the output-tubes (the two 6L6s) is the phase-nverter, a.k.a. the driver-tube.
