  1. Does anyone else now hear Chuck Berry singing "My Ding-a-ling" when viewing that image? "2 balls on the end of a string..." Old No7
  2. You learned some new-to-you Moon or Sun songs, right?! How was the gig? Old No7
  3. Some great ideas above; the few ideas I had were already listed. But maybe you can be BOLD and also mix in some songs about all the CrAzY PeOpLe and/or things that get affected by the moon -- Iron Man and Godzilla (the songs) come to mind, just to mix it up. That leads to: Crazy (Patsy Cline) Crazy Train (Ozzie) Crazy On You (Heart) ...and there's more for sure. Old No7
  4. The very real problem is... If you or I or someone else started such a non "large corporation geared towards web monopoly and homogenization" video streaming service that became hugely successful to compete with "You-Tube, Facebook, Tik-Tok, or Instagram, and the like" -- we'd probably end up selling it to them and retire, and there'd be another one on your list. But then again, would the mass social media market really want what we'd offer as an alternative? Old No7
  5. Having just returned from an island vacation where the sand fleas made a feast of me.... (and ignored others in the group) --> Did you ever perform an outdoor gig and had applied Bug Spray or Lotion that had DEET in it??? --> Or could another band mate had put some on and your keys got all the over-spray? Deet will EAT plastic! On the island they recommended using "Picaridian" for bugs, as it is "Non-harmful to plastics or fishing line". That's my guess... Deet. Old No7
  6. Looking at that list PLUS the list in your footer, well OK then -- as you asked for it: You're totally mad!!! 😉 Got GAS much?!?! Old No7
  7. Cool. Makes me want to say -- "Strawberry Fields Forever!" Old No7
  8. For some FREE and excellent "quick hits" for licks and tips on a Hammond, also check out the videos on youtube posted by: * Mike Little -- "Universe of Keys" * Nick Foley UK -- "Hammond For Hire" Others may offer better courses, yes; but the price is right on those, and the quality is typically very, very good. 9. My bandmates and I are all over 50 and waiting to "save what we have" as others have mentioned. We've been really pleased with the Eargasm line of high-fidelity earplugs sold on Amazon. They've very comfortable and do let the highs and full spectrum of sound come through -- without the volume, of course. Old No7
  10. Man, I had a blast for those hours I spent over 2 days at their NYC store last summer checking out their various keyboards; many that I've only heard or read about or seen pictures of online. I had posted many images of their extensive keyboards department on this forum too, as it was awesome (but expensive to support, I'm sure). It's a sad sign-of-the-times, yes, but understandable... 11. Sigh... The only one performing Foreplay on my organ -- is me.................... Old No7
  12. No cleavage. Can't be Lola Astanova. Old No7
  13. I've seen a few who looked like Cousin Itt ! ! ! Old No7
  14. Call me old school -- and you'd be correct -- but for all those reasons above, I don't ever see myself playing virtual instruments from a computer as I really enjoy having a purpose-built keyboard in front of me. To me, I find there's a very strong mental connection to the board as well (tradition, history, reliving past gigs, old songs or sounds to emulate, pride of ownership, etc.), besides all the physical aspects of the keys, knobs, and sliders, etc. Plus, after 9 to 11 hours spent on a work computer every day, the very LAST thing I want to do is to start up yet another computer................... Ugh... Old No7
