  1. I’m addicted to Korg’s apps: Module with many IAP (Synthogy, Scarbee, KAPro…), Gadget, iM1. Use them for music production and rehearsals. I use also Cubasis 3 a lot. Then a bit of Beathawk and iMPC Pro 2 to craft nice drums. iReal pro and Anytune for practicing and learning new tunes.
  2. I played a gig on Friday evening on a big stage with my 2 VX50KB standing on each side of me (like a giant headphone as already mentioned by @AnotherScott :-)) and I could hear myself very loud and clear, even with an added monitor in front of me to catch all the other instruments (excepts drums which were standing not too far away from me). I was not even at the maximum output level so I could even have pushed it further if needed. I was a bit hesitating to use this setup before the gig, but after it passed the test well, I'm quite confident I can use it again. This of course works only if the stage is big enough to setup the 2 amps on the side. If the stage is too small so that I can only use one amp and when the drum kit is sitting close to me, then I would rather use a more powerful classic stage monitor like the Yamaha DXR10.
  3. But do these OASYS APs ported to Module really sound like Kronos APs? I would be surprised. I quickly tested them by loading the demo in Module, and was not really overwhelmed or pleased. I think I'll keep on using the Ivory APs in Module rather than buying these OASYS APs...
  4. Ok why not, could be a solution 😂
  5. On a side note, I’m still looking for dust covers for my Alto TX310s. Anybody has an idea?
  6. That’s interesting, thanks for the hint. I’m going to try Keynote on my macbook. So far I was using the app mentioned earlier in the thread but I had to redo the stage plot completely from scratch every time I needed a different version 🤦‍♂️
  7. It works for sure with electric pianos.
  8. Just try to do a factory reset and see if that solves the problem.
  9. Sure, but I was only thinking of Korg DPs 😉
  10. Anyway, the original GS is now discontinued, so at the 2k price point, there’s no other choice than the SV2 now. The GS X sells at higher price point, and also offers more features.
  11. Half pedaling is for me really important. I'm so used to it that he has become an integral part of my playing. I mean it allows a very precise and subtle control of sustain which improves the playing feel in my opinion. I'm a bit struggling when I'm playing for example some sound modules which don't support half pedaling. I'd say one can probably do without it, but once you've tested it and use it on a regular base, it gets difficult to do without it. Regarding the V861 pedal noise, it's not a hum but rather a kind of white noise. Sounds more like a cracking noise due to a bad electrical connection or soldering. I think it's probably due to all the dust which accumulated inside the pedal. Unfortunately not really possible to clean up as the pedal can't easily be disassembled.
  12. Actually I have a noise issue when using the V861 as a volume pedal. I always used it with the expression jack with no issue but recently I tried to use it by connecting the input and output volume jacks and then the noise appeared. It’s a bit of a pity 😞
  13. Yes I think classical music is an endless source of material to explore 😂
  14. Yes of course, I think this is something that can happen from time to time 🤣 For me what works the best in that case, is to try learning new tunes I like just for the sake of getting more knowledge in various areas of music or piano playing, and pure self enjoyment. With all the music available out there, I'm pretty sure you can always find something to get your brain and fingers working on. Or the other option is to revisit some old stuff I've not played for a while to be sure I can still play it or reactivate my muscle memory.
  15. Sorry I'm not really on the search for a replacement bag. So I think you would have to do this search on your own. But probably your preferred retailer or distributor can give you some good advice 🙂 Let's see if somebody from the forum comes up with a good proposal 🙂
