  1. Jim, Thank you so much for the comprehensive post explaining how you changed the SK2 to an internal power supply. I’ll bet it will benefit more than just yours truly. Dave Bryce, having read this entire thread I’ve come to the conclusion that you have the patience of a saint. Many thanks for all you do.
  2. Hey Jim, You mentioned converting your SK2 to an internal power supply a few posts back. Might you care to elaborate on what that entailed? I’m wondering about location, method of fastening, what ps was used, overheating risks, keeping a jack open to use an external ps if the internal one craps out, and any other info you could provide. This is something I would love to do to my SK2. Out of my three H/S clonewheels the SK2 is the only one with an external supply and as you know, it’s a pain. Thanks.
  3. His Hammond sound changed my life. I had the good fortune to see Spooky Tooth and a few years later his keyboard heavy Dream Weaver band which opened for Frampton. In both he was great. Better yet,I got to meet the man and have a brief chat following his one man ( plus accompanist) show.. That was about 2014. That was a different but good show. He came across as a nice, mellow guy.
  4. Another ATH M50 fan here. When the earcup foam started to break down on mine I replaced it with extra thick foam earcup pads. Very comfortable.
  5. 100% greatness indeed. Thanks for posting this. Long time Brian Auger fan here. At an age when most have long since hung it up he just keeps growing. Seems like a regular guy who happens to be a musical genius. Dr. Mix’s apparent hero worship is well founded.
  6. ES, Thanks for the Rumble response.
  7. ES, Sorry to derail but I have to ask if you ever tried the PX 330 through the Rumble and if so how did it sound?
  8. Thanks Zydecat and Ken for your impressions of the Bossa aids. Zydecat, please keep us updated over the next couple of weeks. Sounds like you’re off to a good start.
  9. Zydecat, Glad to hear that Bossa came through with the product. Being a candidate for hearing assistance after a life of rock&roll, race cars and hot rods (just ask my wife) I’ll be eagerly awaiting your review. I wish you great success with these units.
  10. When the dust settles I will be contributing. This forum is very valuable to me and getting on here is one of the high points of my day. Thanks for all you do D.B.
  11. Zydecat, Good to hear you were able to make contact with Bossa. I’m very interested to hear your and Ken’s take on these units. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
  12. Aw hell. I had hopes for the Bossa aids. Zydecat’s post about being unable to make contact with Bossa is a real bummer. Hopefully that situation will resolve. I’ll keep my eye on this thread with fingers crossed.
  13. Chummy, You state that the SKPRO line is “plagued with software and hardware bugs.” That’s a pretty broad statement. Care to elaborate? What are these bugs and where can we Iearn more about them? Also,is KRK Marcoballa on YouTube.? I’d like to hear more about his clicky SKX PRO keys. Thanks.
