The only thing perfect about music is its imperfections. That you can only get from imperfect human players on imperfect acoustic instruments. But that's my opinion.

Although you don't find much clavinet on his albums, but the opening track "Yell Help / Wednesday Night / Ugly" on Elton John's "Rock of the Westies" has some really nice clav work, especially on the third part "Ugly".

I was fortunate enough to play a couple of the Lexington Lab Band sets. I'm playing the Rhodes arpeggios, string synth, and flute synth on "I Can't Go For That". Nice to see that video recognized on here. Toto was the other set I did. What a blast!

I have the Model D. I love it but have only had a couple of live playing opportunities. Used it to play the solo in Magic Man for a concert. A friend of mine has the Deepmind and absolutely loves it. Haven't played on that yet.

Well, I just took the plunge on the upgrade. Waiting on my wife to give me hell now... Now I need to look at a good controller. Any suggestions? With the prior versions I've just been using my Kurzweil PC361, but it's been a little unstable the past couple of years.

Is v7 that much of an upgrade from v6?
