He was 80. His family announced the death on his website but did not cite a cause. His manager, David Spero, said Mr. Betts had cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He had been treated in 2018 for a brain injury following a fall in his backyard and canceled a tour following a stroke.

  6. These guys were a prog band from Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA back in the '70s. This album came out on 1976, never heard of them until an hour ago. In some alternate-universe version of America, "Space Brothers" was a Top 5 hit.
