  1. @Caevan O’Shite, I've been waiting for a long time to get a look at her and she's beautifull! Glad the project is getting closer to being finished and hope you find some good help with soldering, etc., so you can plug that baby in!!! I can't wait to hear a review on how well she fills up your day and how you can't keep your hands off of her LoL! You're doing a great job and keep keeping us posted!!! 😎👍
  2. +1 I wish my Les Paul Jr. had a neck position pickup like yours, instead of the stock pup at the bridge position...😎👍
  3. @KuruPrionz, You did a fantastic job and stayed on the project until you got it the way you wanted it to be! Now you have an old friend to keep you company. Have a blast with that baby! 😎👍
  4. Very sad day for all of his admirers. Making it to 80 these days is a good run. He was a great guitarist and songwriter playing in a great band leaving a lasting legacy. Rest in Peace Ramblin' Man Dickie Betts... 😎
  5. @Winston Psmith, glad to have you back and hope you get all the computer gliches worked out some day. At least you have something up and running where we can stay in touch. You have been missed! 😎👍
  6. If you like Jazz, Keep watching as it just gets better and better and fun for the audience too! Robert Conti is one of the greatest jazz guitarists out there IMHO! 😎👍
  7. Interesting but at 2 to 3 grand each, the two Yore effects are well above my pay grade LoL! 😎👍 ps. I do love Spring Reverb...
  8. @murphybridget, Sometimes there is a good reason to <bump> an old thread. There may be a lot of relavent information on it like a mystery guitar, pedal, PA, etc., question that someone can finally answer, or a stolen guitar that someone finally located, or a project guitar that we never saw the completion of, a deceased musician or missing forum member question etc. Sometimes an old thread could still be of interest and deserve future comments. Many times though, a new thread will get to the active forum members if there are any LoL! Keep up the good comments as we need all the active members we can get! 😎👍
  9. @surfergirl, great choice. My Roland EX4 cube only has two inputs but it works great for me (one for guitar and one for mic). You can always add another one later down the line if needed. I would highly recommend you purchase a speaker stand as the unit has a 1.37" Pole Mount built in. While it will work great as a monitor on the floor, it really makes it come alive if you can get it up off the floor about head height. Congrats! 😎👍
  10. @surfergirl, I'm not a fan of Behringer PA equipment but I would choose their PA over the Fender in the same price range especially since you need 4 mic inputs. Behringer is low priced equipment and you do get a bigger bang for the buck. They work great and sound great as long as they are working. The prices are low enough that it can be cheaper to replace components than repair them in some cases. I would suggest buying seperate-not-combo equipment (i.e. amps, mixers, effects, speakers, stands, etc.) so if anything quits working, it will be easy to buy a new Behringer replacement. 😎👍
  11. @murphybridget, I agree with you 100%. I think this thread is an example of being OK for a resurection exception as the OP and almost all of the response posters are still around and there is a chance they may still be interested in commenting. 😎👍
  12. @KuruPrionz. +1 Tales from the crypt (i.e. 4 years) usually come from new members or one-hit overnight wonders for some reason. I guess I can relate when there is really some needed history on a thread. Most of the time the people on old threads have died or moved on and can't respond. I wish the new members would just start a new thread and use the knowledge they gleaned from the old thread that interests them. Rule 5 says no resurrecting old threads...but I guess there are exceptions to the rules. I hope they don't wait or expect a response when quoting old members on old threads LoL! 😎
  13. When you get your hands on the right guitar, don't let go of it...😎
  14. @surfergirl, That's great news! Hope Anna will be older soon enough to play the places she that can't for now. I think George Harrison had the same problem (a little too young for the bars in Germany IIRC). Good luck and have fun! 😎👍
  15. @Okiver, The chords do not sound like chords to me (if this is the right song). It sounds like single notes on the lower strings cranked with some fuzz maybe. Could also be two note 5 chords. Anyway here's the best sample I could find and you could pick out single bass notes from it to start with perhaps. I hear a few chords here and there too...Hope this is helpful: 😎
