FedEx Tracking Number Received!

Should I be heading to a culinary shop or hunting supply for my knife set?

Awesome! What store? Still waiting on mine!

Me too! This is very exciting.

Compared to Mitch's excellent review, I'll be brief.

This thing is killer. The action is butta, the Rotary controls are dead easy and no problem not having a halfmoon, and the Volume and Drive chickenheads on the left are my life.

I have a gig coming up where we might be doing Gimme Some Lovin', and I dialed that tone in with almost no effort (drive a little past half). And I've NEVER played that song before!

Yes! Killer.

Only had to crack the manual to find the mojo wifi password. Rest is so easy.

I'll need to get a half moon figured out. Too many years of unconscious switching to change now.

I'll set up a TRS cable with open leads to test & figure out what wiring needs are and then wire one of my leftover CU1 switches to behave properly.

Gigging tonight with just this.

Dialed in Mitch's 57 B3 as my first choice. Pretty damn close voicing to my '57 C3.

Hardened the hammers on the Wurly a bit to match to the sound of mine. Both as good as it gets aside from the real deal in perfect condition.

Vox AC30 amp is SWEEEEEET.

Mojo61s are shipping to all retailers at this point...but only a few at a time, in some cases. It depends on how the orders came in and in what order they came in.

I believe pretty much all the dealers have units in transit at this point. :thu:

Thanks Dave. I think that is what they said at Sweetwater.

Still loving mine (though its first gig out tomorrow has been cancelled due to the weather  ).

I have had some weird glitches with it that have just as mysteriously resolved themselves. I've reported these to Andrea. One could have been a showstopper, but turning it off and back on fixed it. :idk:

I haven't figured out how to use an external keyboard to control the Lower part. Even with Ext-to-Lower turned on, it seemed to play the Upper part instead. I might be missing something.

I purchased the Gator GKB61Slim bag even though the specs have the front to back depth a bit small, and it fits. It's a little bit of a tweak to get the zippers around the corners, but I can completely zip it closed.

(I paid extra to have Sweetwater get the case to me today because I was going to have to leave before noon tomorrow to get to this gig 2 hours away, dammit. :taz: )

Just make sure that your external controller is sending on a Midi channel that matches lower channel (which in the Mojo61 is TX Channel + 1). If your TX Channel is 1, your external keyboard should send on Channel 2 in order to play the lower channel.

Got to try and repeat those glitches so you can give ZioGuido a clue where to look when tackling these early adopter bugs. Thanks for being a part of the Mojo61 test team!. :D

Cool. I'll give that a try.

Sweetwater's initial shipment of units was supposed to arrive today, but it has been further delayed. Hopefully next week . . .

It's a Fedex thing. They were shipped on time.

I figured it was something like that, as my Sales Engineer said that Sweetwater "had tracking" on this shipment, but it did not arrive today as expected.

However, FedEx hasn't delayed these since the original projected availability date. Guess it is another "boutique" issue - haha!

No doubt.

Ramping up build quantities suddenly due to unanticipated demand can understandably present a few challenges. :idk:

Dave - As their customer since the BGMI days, I'm very happy for Andrea & Guido's success, and I understand & agree with everything you said in your post in the other thread. No one is more passionate about this stuff than these guys.

Hopefully, they can power through the growing pains & use some of the spoils of this success to increase capacity.

More than anything - I am a spoiled brat & want my Mojo 61 now! ;-)

If I lived in Italy, I'd go work with them and help them out. :) But, everything they've done gives me confidence about their future. :thu:

I'm starting to get nervous about the delivery of my Mojo 61. It's mid-June and I was expecting mine weeks ago. I'm going into the studio in July and I'm hoping to use the Mojo instead of the studio's Hammond M3 (without foldback). Please come soon!

I hope it shows up soon for you guys. I know'll love it when you get it. It's a great board (and Andrea and Guido are great guys). :thu:

Just got the call from Chris at Alto Music - my unit arrived at the store today and should arrive at my office on Thursday. And the day I ordered it a few weeks back, I ALSO picked up a used Hammond A-100 - the Hammond and the Mojo 61 together for less than I would've paid for the original Mojo. Sweet!

That thing sounded great, Ken! With my eyes closed, there is no way I could have known there wasn't a real organ on stage.

(For the rest of you, I was 10 feet away from the Leslie all night).

Now. What's in that "147"? Some kind of solid-state amp? Whatever it was, it sounded great.

Hammond: L111, M100, M3, BC, CV, Franken CV, A100, D152, C3, B3

Leslie: 710, 760, 51C, 147, 145, 122, 22H, 31H

Yamaha: CP4, DGX-620, DX7II-FD-E!, PF85, DX9

Roland: VR-09, RD-800

My Leslie has been pretty heavily modified. I have installed a Crate solid state guitar head in it ( I think it's about 100W ) and I built a solid stage relay switching scheme to deal with the motors. It's set up to accept 1/4" input and I use a half moon switch attached to the front rail with velcro. For most gigs I'm happy with the onboard sim of the Mojo61 but this one was about 90% organ and it was nice to have the real thing spinning next to me. Thanks for coming out Wes!

Hey Mitch, really nice review (didn't see it before)!

Since I saw people asking for audio/video I figured I could join and post my latest video here which gives a pretty good impression of the organ & tines piano sound I think.

Enjoy!
