I was digging around the web for articles containg early opinions of digital audio (as compared to the monstrous 96k thread I just finished! Thanks all, great information!)

Anyway, I stumbled on an Audiophile mag review of the sony cdp-101, which I think was amidst, if not the first, consumer CD player. It was pretty amusing to read explanations of how the ff/rew buttons function, amongst an initial take on digital audio period... Here's the link:
