Hello,

I picked up a vintage large diaphram, and it is similar to the old Sony mic. It has an unusual 3/4 inch female thread that doesn't screw on to a standard 5/8 inch mic stand. I looked on K&M and they don't seem to have the adapter. Anyone know where I can get one?

I *might* have something in stock from my old stock of Starbird boom parts. It would help if you had more info, specifically, something like I need a male or female 3/4 x [threads per inch] to 5/8 x 27 (standard) male adaptor...

EveAnna,

I *think* I need a:
Male or 3/4 x 12 to 5/8 x 27 female adaptor.

The vintage mic clip has the 3/4 female end, the standard mic stand had the standard male end. I need something to make the standard 5/8 male end bigger (3/4)

The vintage mic clip has exactly 1/2 thread depth, and I count 6 grooves.

That's better. I'll contact you privately when I get home on Wed. or Thursday after I check the parts. Or in the meantime maybe someone else will have what you exactly need.
