Metheny is my favorite living musician and I"m eager to see his Side Eye project next week. I never tire of the music he and Lyle Mays made together and As Falls Wichita⦠was a monumental album for me at the time it was released. Mays" passing last year was a huge blow to everyone who loved his music. This video comes as a wonderful reminder, as if one is needed, of his brilliance. Yes, I know Rick talks a bit during the piano solo but it is an educational video. I always love his ever-present enthusiasm and energy.
