Hey, saw this, and thought of how this was a good demonstration of how one might arrive at sonic scenescapes in the grain of '70s Pink Floyd, Steve Miller, Tangerine Dream... The instrument used is a classical symphonic pedal harp- and occasionally, no instrument at all, so's to speak- but one could do the same with a guitar, a keyboard, a bass- a ukulele, a mandolin, an accordion, a harmonica, a kalimba, a kazoo- you get the picture. I suspect that some of you here already have done or do such things...

I was heavy into Guitar To MIDI synth and sample work back in the late 1980's. It was interesting and fun. But after a few years I sold everything to come out west here and never re-upped my gear to continue with that kind of music. If I ever hit the lotto I will re up my interest in guitar to MIDI synth work.

@dbm - If you decide to get back into Guitar Synths, we should talk! Lots of fun new gear out there, more compact, more sounds, better connectivity!
