CowboyNQ Posted September 28, 2021 Share Posted September 28, 2021 A few of my favourites: - raindrops (on roses) - whiskers (on kittens) - copper water-boiling devices - mittens made of wool - string-bound parcels wrapped in brown paper - cream-coloured ponies - pastry containing apple (must have crisp texture) - bells (as used on doors and sleighs) - crumbed veal with noodles on the side - insomniac geese - girls in white dresses (with blue satin sashes) - when snow gets in my face - the annual thaw When I get attacked by canines and insects these things provide a soothing psychological balm.
